We are a design practice and publishing house. We imagine and speculate on past, present and future Funk. Synthesising culture through narratives, places and spaces. We develop stories as strategies for a more equitable and playful city. Catch us designing digital and physical spaces, mixed media storytelling platforms, researching novel design languages and systems that serve the Hood, its people and the sauce we produce. This website is an ongoing attempt to merge our portfolio site, publishing platform and a mapping project into one. And, since we grew up on blogs, we share dope shit by dope people from time to time. Our aim is to become the Wu-Tang Clan of design and publishing, so best to protect your neck.

In het kader van het Dutch Culture residentieprogramma van 2019 transformeerde Concrete Blossom een avondwinkel om naar een interactieve installatie, performancespace. In dit mixed media storytellingproject staat de regeneratieve potentie van de informele instituten in diasporische wijken centraal.
